Before You Begin
Thank you for choosing TD Canada Trust Credit Cards for your credit card needs! Please ensure that you have activated your new card before proceeding with the EasySwitch service. If you have not activated your new card, please call the toll-free number provided on the activation sticker and return to this Website to provide the information required when you are ready to proceed with the EasySwitch service. This application process will take approximately 10 minutes to complete, depending on the number of pre-authorized payments that you would like to set-up on your TD Canada Trust Credit Card account.
Please take a moment to review the following:
1. Who Can set up Pre-Authorized Payments?

  • Only existing TD Canada Trust Credit cardholders are able to set up pre-authorized payments from merchants/companies.
    2. Information You Will Need:
  •  
  • The last 4 digits of your credit card number
  •  
  • Your credit card statement address
  •  
  • The name and address of each merchant/company.
  •  
  • Your account number, policy number or membership number for each bill that you pay.
  •  
  • Approximate amount of your most recent bill.
  •  
  • Frequency of billing (monthly, quarterly, etc.)
    3. What happens after I submit this request form online?
  •  
  • Your request is reviewed and then processed through the EasySwitch systems.
  •  
  • Any errors or omissions in the form will result in a callback by an EasySwitch representative to discuss the details of your request.
  •  
  • All successfully completed pre-authorized payment requests will be sent off to the merchants/companies provided in your request for their action (i.e. updating of their records with your new payment information)
  •  
  • It may take up to 2 invoice / statement periods for this new payment information to take effect on the accounts provided in this request
  •  
  • Please continue to pay your bills as you currently do and check your statements to see if the payment information has been updated.
    Please note:
  •  
  • Loans or other credit card balances cannot be set up as pre-authorized payments on your credit card
  •  
  • There may be merchants that do not accept credit cards for pre-authorized payments
  •  
  • Your request will be reviewed and if we require more information or if you've requested a merchant that doesn't accept credit cards for pre-authorized payments, an EasySwitch representative will contact you through a follow-up phone call
